It all started with moving cities. It started when my skin made a cry for attention. More so, it started with the love of Aloe Vera! Fresh Aloe Vera gel is something my mother has been encouraging me to use since I was twelve! Aloe Vera, natural oils, home remedies — we all hear about their matchless virtue from our mothers and grandmothers, especially when it comes to skin care. So, in the back of my mind I knew I wanted to give them a chance before indulging in any other product. I was repeatedly enticed by the many skincare products that are widely available these days. But three questions always nagged me — and this was perhaps the birth of ‘Earthling’ —
‘Apart from targeting the issues, what else do all the chemicals in these products do?’;
‘Will my skin be dependent or addicted?’; ‘Is there a healthier alternative?’
These persistent questions led to a growing awareness of the effects of what we put on our skins. The more I researched and explored my intuition, the more I gravitated towards the natural earth-based remedies. And it astounds me how much the earth’s natural resources have to offer. Perhaps it’s time we stopped alienating ourselves from this perfect source of remedies! I wanted to use something clean and something natural, so I looked both inwards and outwards. That is how I introduced myself to all these bountiful ingredients and remedies. And now I want to re-introduce them to You.
